L&P Attorney Joins Chorus Endorsing Confirmation of Tiffany Cunningham as Federal Circuit Judge

Laurence & Phillips IP Law (L&P) founder Matt Phillips signed a letter of support for Tiffany Cunningham as the next judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Cunningham was nominated by President Biden and is awaiting confirmation by the Senate.  The letter, which was addressed to Senators Durbin and Grassley, who head the Senate’s Judiciary Committee, was signed by 28 people who served as law clerks with Ms. Cunningham at the Federal Circuit 2001-2002.  Phillips remarked, “First, she will be an outstanding judge.  I have no doubt about that.  Second, I am thrilled that we will have another experienced patent litigator on the Federal Circuit bench.”
