L&P Client Unified Patents and Virtual Fleet Settle IPR
Unified Patents Inc., which was represented by Laurence & Phillips IP Law (L&P), and Virtual Fleet Management LLC jointly filed a request to terminate an inter partes review (IPR), IPR2017-00845, pursuant to settlement. The subject of the IPR petition was U.S. Patent 6,958,701, which relates to fleet tracking and management. The gist of the ’701 Patent can be appreciated by its Figure 2, which is provided below.
