Joe Hawkins joins L&P
Laurence & Phillips IP Law (L&P) is pleased to announce that Joe Hawkins, has joined the firm. Joe will focus on patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings.
Joe previously worked with both Kevin Laurence and Matt Phillips at an Am Law 200 law firm, where he was a partner. Joe Hawkins brings over 16 years of experience to the firm, in patent-related services involving a wide array of electrical, software, and computer-related technologies. His experience includes domestic and international IP prosecution, post-grant proceedings, and enforcement. Prior to his legal career, Joe worked as a software engineer for several cutting-edge companies in the networking and data security space. This legal, technical, and practical experience enables him to craft strategies for building and protecting patent portfolios that achieve core objectives for any enterprise that he represents.
